INOTEX 2025 Provincial Festival Held in Khuzestan

Following the successful completion of Research Pitch and INOTEX Pitch competitions in North Khorasan Province, the city of Ahvaz in Khuzestan Province hosted the INOTEX 2025 Provincial Festival. This event was organized in collaboration with the Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz Incubator Center.

Research Pitch Highlights in Khuzestan

The Research Pitch competition in Khuzestan saw the submission of 21 research proposals, of which 12 proposals advanced to the in-person presentation stage after initial evaluations. On Wednesday, January 24, 2025, the following five research projects were selected as winners:

1. Advanced Equipment, Machinery, and Materials:
   • Localization of piston cylinder compressors for household applications (Milad Zaman and Hossein Safdarian)
   • Bio-concrete: Nano-calcite precipitation using bacteria (Gholamreza Qazalbash and Sara Qashqai)
      
2. Electronics and Robotics:
   • Ultrasonic Detector for Internal Anomalies in Building Stones (Mohammadmehdi Zargan and Sina Rashtizadeh)
      
3. Water, Energy, and Environment:
   • Solar light pipes (Mostafa Ban Mohisen and Hossein Mousavi)
      
4. Healthcare and Future Medicine:
   • Custom infrared (IR) heat waves for rehabilitation patients (Azizollah Khorshidzadeh)

INOTEX Pitch Highlights in Khuzestan

The INOTEX Pitch competition involved the evaluation of 43 proposals by judges, with 13 teams, including 2 student teams, advancing to the in-person presentation stage. On Thursday, January 25, 2025, the following teams were announced as winners:

• 1st Place: Team Altin Paper for producing paper from animal manure at a low cost.
   
• 2nd Place: Team Adib Gostar Arvand for developing slow-release urea fertilizer for cost-effective agriculture.
   
• Honorable Mention: Student team Rama for creating a school service booking platform with pre-booking capabilities.

Final Qualification for INOTEX 2025

The winning teams and individuals from both competitions earned their spots in the final round of INOTEX 2025, which will be held from April 28 to May 1, 2025, at the Iran International Innovation District and Pardis Technology Park.

Gilan: The Next Stop for the INOTEX 2025 Provincial Festival

Gilan Province has been announced as the next host for the INOTEX 2025 Provincial Festival, scheduled for February 6-7, 2025.

A National-Level Initiative

The Research Pitch and INOTEX Pitch competitions are part of the INOTEX 2025 Provincial Festival, which is organized by the INOTEX Secretariat across various provinces, including North Khorasan, Khuzestan, Gilan, Tehran, Markazi, Fars, and the northwestern region of Iran, hosted by Urmia.
