INOTEX Arena 2025 Emerges as One of the Ecosystem’s Most Popular Side Events

The INOTEX Arena 2025 has become one of the most widely attended side events within the innovation ecosystem, operating across two main tracks.

According to the INOTEX 2025 Media Office, the first track of the Arena provides startups, ideas, and businesses with an opportunity to present their concepts in a 10-minute pitch. Beyond being accessible to INOTEX audiences, these presentations are also curated and shared directly with investment funds and venture capital firms.

Elham Zibaei, Secretary of the third edition of INOTEX Arena, said that this year—following planning efforts and coordination with Pardis Technology Park—an accelerator will be integrated into the Arena’s post-event process. Under this plan, the accelerator will conduct an initial evaluation and onboard selected high-potential investment opportunities into its acceleration pipeline.

Zibaei added that the strong reception of the Arena reflects renewed momentum within Iran’s innovation ecosystem, with new ideas and emerging talent showing increased interest in participation. She emphasized that this momentum should not be overlooked, noting Pardis Technology Park’s central role in building and expanding the country’s innovation and technology ecosystem. Based on ongoing coordination and preliminary negotiations, she said, positive developments are expected this year regarding the national expansion of the Arena, made possible by the Park’s sustained support over the past three years.

The second track of the Arena focuses on experience sharing by successful ecosystem figures. Introduced last year and implemented this year with more structured programming, the segment features prominent and experienced individuals who share insights through 10-minute conversational sessions with INOTEX moderators.

The Secretary of INOTEX emphasized that the Arena’s primary mission is ecosystem capacity building and development, adding that combining team presentations with firsthand insights from established leaders allows participants to reassess their paths through the perspective of those who have already navigated similar journeys.

One of the Arena’s most notable developments in its third year at INOTEX 2025 was the participation of international companies, with representatives from multiple countries presenting on the Arena stage. Through coordination with the International Affairs division of the INOTEX Secretariat at Pardis Technology Park, foreign exhibitors were given the opportunity to engage more directly with attendees. The presence of experienced international guests in the experience-sharing sessions further enhanced the Arena’s appeal.

Zibaei highlighted that the Arena is fundamentally a platform for interaction, one that can—and should—extend beyond national borders. She noted that the Arena’s organizing media partner, IDEA Agency (ideaagency.net), has built strong international communication channels in recent years, which will be leveraged to further develop the Arena at a global level.

Over four days, this year’s Arena hosted more than 65 pitch sessions and experience-sharing presentations. The Arena imposes no thematic limitations, allowing all individuals and teams to participate. It is not exclusively designed for small businesses; over the past three years, large companies have also taken part, using the platform to showcase their capabilities.

Notably, the youngest presenter this year was a 19-year-old national talent, who has participated in the Arena across three editions with different ideas. Another key highlight was the strong presence of teams and businesses from outside Tehran, underscoring the need for platforms like the Arena within major exhibitions hosted in the capital.
